With summer around the corner, we wanted to put together a list of our top 4 driving hazards, and how to avoid them.

  1. Construction
Summer is construction season. Be cautious when driving through a construction zone as debris can cause damage to your vehicle and tires.
  2. More Cyclists & Motorcycles
During the summer months, cyclists and motorcyclists are taking advantage of riding in warmer weather. Always shoulder check and check all your blind spots before switching lanes. And, when possible, give cyclists extra room.
  3. Tire Blow Outs
Warmer temperatures can cause tires to expand which can lead to a blowout, especially if your tires are worn out. Take care of your tires by getting tire rotations, and keeping an eye on the tire pressure.
  4. Dehydration & Overheating
With warmer weather on the rise, it’s important to take care of yourself when driving. Always drink water to keep yourself hydrated and body temperatures cool, when on the go.
