It’s almost September which means back-to-school is upon us. While you’re getting your family ready to head back to school, we’d like to remind you of a few things to check for:

  1. Check Your Lights & Wipers
Make sure your headlights, brake lights and wipers are in good order. Are your turning signals working? What about your hazard lights?
  2. Check Your Brakes
If you hear a high-pitched screeching sound when applying your brakes, it could be an indication that you need to replace your brake pads. Another good thing to check for is if your brake pads are worn out.
  3. Check Your Tires
Check your tires for excessive wear. Is the tread uneven or extremely worn? Check for nails and other potential hazards. Check each tire’s pressure to make sure it’s correct.
  4. Check Under Your Hood
Ensure your fluid levels are topped up. That includes your coolant and transmission fluids, brake and power steering fluids. While you are checking for fluid levels, be sure to check your battery!
