Where Reliability Meets Repair
A Continued Commitment to Our Community
We’ve been dedicated to serving the community since 1969. Founded by the Bower family, our shop has a rich history rooted in our community, and we carry forward the legacy of quality service established by our grandparents, who started this journey over 50 years ago. Their values continue to inspire us as we provide honest and experienced auto repair and collision services.
As a third-generation family business, we pride ourselves on being natives of Fauquier County who truly care about our neighbors and the community we serve, in Warrenton and beyond. For five decades, we have built our reputation on reliable service at fair prices, and we look forward to continuing this for many more years to come.
Our Team
Family-Owned for Generations
Warrenton Auto Service is more than just a business; it is a proud family tradition deeply rooted in our history and values. Founded by Carlos and Ruth Bower in 1966 in Arlington, the business was moved to Warrenton in 1970, where it has become an integral part of the community and a cherished family legacy. Norman Bower, the son of Carlos and Ruth, began learning the trade at just 18 years old, soaking up his parents’ lessons on integrity, hard work, and building strong relationships with customers, employees, and neighbors. In 1989 Carlos retired, leaving Ruth and Norman to run the business.
Over the decades, our business has grown through generations of family members and dedicated employees who share our commitment to honest automotive repair and excellent service. Today, Carla Bower-Lacy and Brian Bower, Norman’s children, continue to uphold the same family-first philosophy, ensuring that every vehicle is treated with care. Of course, their grandmother Ruth still comes by from time to time to check in! Our family’s history is a testament to dedication, trust, and community support, and we look forward to serving Warrenton–and beyond–for many more generations to come.
